From Brussels to Prague: A publication on modern architecture reached the Archbishop
On July 8, 2025, the Primate of the Czech Republic Jan Graubner and the Archbishop of Prague were visited by the teachers of the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Prague, architect Marek Štěpán and professor Vladimír Šlapeta, together with the director of Architectureweek, Ing. Petr Ivanov.
During the meeting, they presented the Archbishop with the new publication Czech Modern Architecture, which was presented at the end of June at the European Parliament in Brussels, and then both teachers consulted on proposals for nominations for the Opera Pragensia award, which will be awarded at a gala evening at the Czech National Bank in early October this year.
